New Ventures India identifies not only green but high growth companies. We believe that investing in green makes good business sense.
The impact of industrialization is taking a toll on the environment. In the coming years, India aspires to achieve 10% growth rate in GDP. This in turn would put tremendous pressure on the prevailing infrastructure in the country. In order to leverage on the opportunity available to the enterprises to grow and contribute to the growth of the country, these sensitive environmental situations need to be taken care of.
Therefore to attain sustainable and inclusive growth it makes tremendous sense to go green!
In order to form a closed knit group of investors interested in this space, New Ventures India - launched the Green Investor Network at the Investor Forum in Nov 2007, which serves as a platform for investors to interact with sustainable enterprises. The goal of the Green Investor Network is to facilitate investment into these high growth sustainable enterprises.Through joining the Investor Network, investors will benefit from:
- A good source of deal flow.
- Increased interaction with entrepreneurs and other investors in the sustainability space.
